Carley Cullen is originally from Winfield, IL. She attended the University of Iowa where she received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design and a minor in Spanish. After graduating, she began her career as a Graduate Student at the University of Iowa in January 2016, with her primary area in Graphic Design and secondary area in Printmaking. Carley is also a Graduate Certificate Candidate at the University of Iowa Center for the Book.
Carley’s body of work involves combining different methods in graphic design and printmaking to explore her personal experiences with anxiety and depression. She aims to educate her audiences and bring awareness to these and other mental health concerns through interactive exhibitions and public installations.
